There are many genetic factors that can lead to an increased lifetime risk of various cancers. We are familiar with the BRCA gene faults which are prevalent within the Jewish community (and which NHS England are now testing for!), but did you know there are a series of genes which, if they are faulty, lead to a much higher risk of colon, rectal, endometrial, gastric and ovarian cancers.
This is known as Lynch Syndrome, but what is it? How is it inherited? What is it like to be living with Lynch Syndrome and what does the future hold for these individuals? Join us as we discuss these questions with leaders in the field.
