Dr Gil Bar-Nahum

Dr. Gil Bar-Nahum is Managing Director and EMEA Head of Biotechnology at Jefferies, based in London. With over 20 years of investment banking experience, he focuses on innovative biotech companies in Europe and Israel. Since joining Jefferies in 2009, he has led over 60 financings, including 30+ NASDAQ IPOs, raising more than $5 billion, and has advised on numerous cross-border M&A deals. He previously worked at UBS in healthcare investment banking and equity research. Dr. Bar-Nahum holds a PhD from NYU School of Medicine, where his research was published in Cell, as well as an MS and BS in life sciences.

Vivienne Parry OBE

Vivienne Parry OBE is a British science journalist, writer, and broadcaster. She rose to prominence presenting Tomorrow’s World (BBC TV) and Panorama, later hosting Radio 4 series like Am I Normal?

Most recently, she held the position of Head of Engagement at Genomics England, Parry also serves on the UK Research & Innovation board and previously held leadership roles at UCL and the Medical Research Council.

She’s written for The Guardian, The Times, and Good Housekeeping, and authored books including The Truth About Hormones (Aventis‑Prize nominee).

Awarded an OBE in 2011 for public understanding of science, Parry also received a Suffrage Science award and honorary doctorate.
