Vanessa Gold – Chair of Ann Summers, Joint Club Chair of West Ham United F.C. & BRCA Activist
As the Chair of Ann Summers, Vanessa is passionate about her business and its mission to empower women and promote positivity and inclusivity. In 1986 she joined the brand, working alongside her sister, Jacqueline, reaching the position of Managing Director in 2011, and then CEO in 2022. In July 2023, she moved into the role of Chair.
Vanessa also serves as the joint Chair at West Ham United Football Club, where she plays a pivotal role in preserving her family’s legacy within the club. Working closely with the Board of Directors, Vanessa is dedicated to ensuring the continued growth and success of West Ham United F.C.

Deborah Joseph – an award-winning magazine editor and journalist who writes regularly for The Times and Daily Mail. Until recently, she was Editor-in-chief of Glamour magazine where she focused on driving conversations around equality for women. She was the 2023 Chair of the British Society for Magazine editors and is currently a judge for the Women’s Prize for Fiction. She has three children and two dogs and speaks regularly on work life balance.
